Nottinghamshire is set to benefit from a major expansion of NHS mental health services.
The Government says multiple community-based mental health centres are planned across the county, as part of a £343M national rollout.
Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham is also listed for a new dedicated mental health emergency department.
The aim is to give people earlier support closer to home, and specialist crisis care without long waits in A&E.
The first sites are expected to open from this autumn, with more following next year.
