Debdale festival draws thousands

Debdale Sports Park welcomed thousands of festivalgoers for a sell-out community celebration.

The event featured tribute acts performing music from ABBA, Gerry Cinnamon and Oasis.

Visitors also enjoyed street food, a fun fair and guest appearances from Britain’s Got Talent winners Boogie Storm, Bumblebee and Jack Sparrow-style characters.

General Manager Adam Bates said the second event had “completely surpassed” expectations and praised the Woodhouse community for supporting it.

Tickets for the 2027 event are due to go on sale on Wednesday 29 July.
