Steve Yemm visited Mansfield 103.2's studios to carry out his first full live radio interview since becoming Mansfield Member of Parliament this morning.
Mr Yemm who beat Conservative Ben Bradley in the July the 4th vote was interview by 103.2's Director of News Tony Delahunty.
Mr Yemm said on social media following the result, 'It is an immense honour and privilege to be elected as the Member of Parliament for Mansfield and Warsop. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.'
In the past Mansfield was considered a safe Labour seat but Ben Bradley turned Mansfield from Red to Blue in 2017.
The seat had been held by Labour since 1923 and it's now back in the party's hands.
