Mansfield Town Film Festival 2026 will take place at Mansfield Palace Theatre from 25 to 27 September.
Organisers say this year’s event is the festival’s biggest edition so far, with independent films, filmmaker talks, VR experiences, Q&As and industry events.
The festival has also become BIFA-qualifying, meaning selected films can use it as a route towards British Independent Film Awards recognition.
Opening day highlights include screenings from UK and international filmmakers, a VR Cinema Experience and a BFI NETWORK mixer.
Films being shown include The Orphan, The Pearl Comb, Free Fish and We’re All Black Down Here.
Mayor Andy Abrahams and East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward are also due to attend.
