People facing homelessness and rough sleeping across the East Midlands are set to benefit from new Government funding.
The Government has announced a £442 million package to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping across England.
Local authorities across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire will receive a collective £3.6 million to support local services.
The East Midlands Combined County Authority will receive more than £10 million across 2027/28 and 2028/29.
Mayor Claire Ward says the funding will help support people facing homelessness and strengthen local efforts to end rough sleeping.
The money will focus on prevention, crisis support, long-term accommodation and partnership working with councils, charities, housing providers and community organisations.
