Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign Omar Marmoush from Manchester City.

The Egypt forward is set for a medical ahead of completing an initial loan move with a £60m obligation to buy him permanently.

Sky Sports News understands the fee is broken up into a £50m guaranteed payment plus £10m in bonuses.

Eintracht Frankfurt, who sold Marmoush to City in January 2025, do not have a sell-on clause, contrary to reports.

The German club received their desired guaranteed fee at the time, plus additional bonuses.

There were also very few instalments, meaning all payment obligations to Frankfurt have been fulfilled by City.

Marmoush now looks set to follow former City teammate Savio to join Roberto De Zerbi's squad, after the Brazil winger completed an £85m move to Spurs on Tuesday.

De Zerbi: Spurs will continue to spend

Speaking ahead of Tottenham facing Charlton in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports, De Zerbi said Spurs would continue to spend in the transfer market.

The £85m signing of Savio took their spend to over £300m for the summer transfer window after already signing Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke. Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi have also arrived on free transfers.

"I don't feel pressure about the transfer market. If I can, I want to spend more money again without problems, because the other teams don't spend anything different," De Zerbi said.

"I feel pressure because I am working in one of the best clubs in the world and I would like to help this club to compete to win the titles.

"I don't know [whether] this season or next season, but, in the end, it's my big target, my personal target.

"We have nothing less than the other big clubs in the Premier League, especially now, in my time. We are moving very well in the transfer market and why not?

"I can't understand why Tottenham can't compete with Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal. I don't understand why Tottenham can't spend the same money as Chelsea, Liverpool."
