For the last month Nottinghamshire Police together with their partnership agencies have been conducting an operation to address mamba use and rough sleeping in Mansfield town centre.

The operation is aimed to help and support individuals effected by homelessness and mamba use and deal positively with individuals intent on committing Anti-scoail behaviour, dealing and using drugs.

During this period they made over 23 arrests and Mansfield District council and Nottinghamshire Police combined have issued and enforced over 60 directions to leave the town centre.

The operation is ongoing and the Force continue to work with those affected and help people get the support they need wherever they can.
