NEWS IN FOCUS | SE02EP06 Giving Young People A Voice
Our weekly look at current affairs returns this evening, as we take a look at the local schemes which give young people a voice.
Over the past week, eight young people have been elected as members of Youth Parliament – and in this evenings show (13th July) we take a deeper look at the Youth Parliament and how it gives young people a platform to get their voices and views heard.
Mansfield’s MP Ben Bradley and Ashfield Independent Councillor Tom Hollis are amongst this week’s guests as they share their views on youth politics and pledge their support to those elected into the local seats.
Also this week, Nottinghamshire County Council’s Senior Practitioner for Youth Services Pav Ayoub reveals more about the process, as well as sharing further details on the forthcoming 4Youth Awards.
