Have you been offered this ring or seen someone with this unique piece of jewellery?
The ring (pictured) was among a number of pieces stolen during a burglary in Wheatley Avenue, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, between 1pm and 6.20pm on Monday, 5 December 2016.
The ring is a unique and unusual piece due to a black rhodium-plated white gold band and has a "rose cut" diamond which is at least 1 carat. It has two rows of "brilliant cut" diamonds half way around the ring. A solid thick band round the back. The ring dates 1945-1947, but it is believed the large centre diamond is older than the ring and may have been taken from a much older piece of jewellery.
