Appeal After Man Is Assaulted In Mansfield Woodhouse

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a 47-year-old man was assaulted by a group of youths in Mansfield Woodhouse.
The man was walking along Station Street, near to the Mirch Massala restaurant, when he was attacked by six male youths. One of them punched him in the face causing him to fall to the ground, hit his head and lose consciousness. The youths then ran off.
It happened between 8.45pm and 9.10pm on Thursday 3 May 2018.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and was subsequently discharged.
The youths who attacked him are white and aged 15-18. One of them was wearing a red football shirt and black jacket.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 900 of 3 May 2018, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
