Cox Keen For Marriott To Stay
Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox says Alan Marriott is one of the players he wants to keep at the One Call Stadium.
The shot-stopper is one of a number of the Stags squad who are out of contract this summer.
The Stags manager will be speaking to all his players next week about who he wants to keep and who he will be letting go.
And, Cox said of Marriott: "He's been brilliant this season. We'll hopefully be looking to sit down with Alan and try and get him to sign for next season.
"But, we've got to be mindful of the fact that other people might come in and try and take our players.
"Hopefully, we can keep the nucleus of the squad. They've been brilliant to work with and we need to build on that." |
