Tuesday Action: Stags Still Need Point For Third, Forest Are Safe
Mansfield Town still need just one point to secure third place in the Blue Square Bet Prem.
Both Luton and York won on Tuesday night meaning they can still catch the Stags for that position - but only just.
Third means Mansfield would play their semi-final second leg at home.
A draw or win against Wrexham at the One Call Stadium on Friday would confirm it.
Nottingham Forest are safe from relegation in the Championship despite losing on Tuesday night.
They were beaten 1-0 at Reading, a win that confirmed their hosts' promotion to the Premier League.
But, with Coventry losing to Millwall, it means Forest are seven points clear of the bottom three with two games to play.
Derby lost 2-0 at Cardiff whilst, in local non-league action, Shirebrook drew 2-2 at Worksop Parramore and AFC Hucknall beat Sutton Town 5-2. |
