Born in Lancashire - a long time ago.
At school, favourite subjects were sports and cooking where I became long jump champion at the age of six and won school awards for best tripe and cowheel pies.
Moved to Nottingham to take up residence at the Nottingham Palais as DJ but soon worked my way up to chief pot washer.
Joined Mansfield 103.2 in the early days - June 1999 - making cups of tea and changing CD tracks for William Lane, another of our great names from the past.
Hobbies include sky diving and origami.
