Multiple Sclerosis – Advice & Support For Local Sufferers

The Mansfield branch of the MS Society will be holding drop in sessions to offer advice and support to anyone living locally with MS or for those caring for someone living with it. The sessions will be every Wednesday from 10am – 4pm at The Hive in the Four Seasons Shopping Centre in Mansfield. So, whether it’s advice on managing symptoms, dietary advice, emotional support or simply information that you need simply pop in and see them.


Fundraising Zumba Party

On Friday 18th January from 7pm onwards there is a fundraising zumba party taking place at Mansfield Rugby Club on Eakring Road in Mansfield. The party is raising funds for Mansfield Rugby Club’s Under 14’s Boys 2019 tour. So, if you fancy getting your glow on and joining in the zumba party why not book your tickets now by emailing or Tickets are £5 for participants aged 14 years and over and just £3 for under 14’s. Everyone is welcome to go along and join in the fun.


Coffee Morning

On Saturday 19th January from 10am – 12pm there is a coffee morning happening at the Trinity Methodist Church on High Street in Mansfield Woodhouse. Everyone is welcome to go along.


The Pied Piper – A Modern Day Panto

The Bolsover Drama Group are proud to present a modern day panto full of family fun and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. ‘The Pied Piper’ is on from Wednesday 23rd - Saturday 26th January at 7.15pm each night plus a Saturday matinee at 2pm. Sutton Rambling Club – Why Not Join Them For A Walk??

On Sunday 27th January the Sutton Rambling Club will be walking in the Matlock and Holloway areas of Derbyshire. It promises to be a lovely scenic walk suitable for all abilities, a great walk in fantastic company, what more could you ask for?? As always there will be a coach available to take walkers to and from the walk, it picks up at The Staff of Life public house in Sutton in Ashfield at 9.15am followed by a pick up on Stockwell Gate in Mansfield at 9.30am. Male Voices At The Minster

This year the Mansfield & District Male Voice Choir are celebrating their 75th anniversary. As part of the celebrations they will be one of the choirs performing at Southwell Minster in “Male Voices At The Minster” on 23rd March 2019. The show also features St Edmunds and Bestwood Male Voice Choir and special guest flautist, Chris Hill. The concert has been organised with the kind permission of the Dean & Chapter of Southwell Minster and is presented by The Rotary Club of Southwell. The concert starts at 7.30pm and promises to be a great evening.
