The Ragdolls – A Celebration of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons
On Friday 21st February The Ragdolls will be performing live at The Forest Town Arena. They will take you on a musical journey through the sounds of one of the most successful bands of all time. Classic songs will be featured such as “Sherry”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Oh What A Night” and many more. The Ragdolls will recreate the sound of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons right before your eyes. Open Mic Karaoke Night
There’s a new open mic karaoke night happening every other Friday night at the Triple S Snooker Club in Skegby. The next one is on Friday 21st February with the fun starting at 8pm. So whether you are looking for a night of entertainment or if you want to have a go at being the entertainer then the Triple S is the place to be. Everyone welcome to go along.

Sutton Rambling Club – Why Not Join Them For A Walk??
On Sunday 23rd February the Sutton Rambling Club will be taking a fascinating walk around Monyash and Lathkill Dale in the Peak District. It promises to be a great walk with fabulous scenery and great company, what more could you ask for?? As always there will be a coach available to take walkers to and from the walk, it picks up at The Staff of Life public house in Sutton in Ashfield at 9.15am followed by a pick up on Stockwell Gate in Mansfield at 9.30am. Tapas & Talk
On Tuesday 3rd March from 6pm – 8pm a new initiative is being launched by the team behind One Walk and One Conversation who have teamed up with the Capo Lounge in Mansfield. It’s called ‘Tapas & Talk’, the evening involves people coming together at the Capo Lounge with a lovely friendly bunch of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for a conversation plus food and drink if you wish. The group of friendly activists (as they are known) will be in the bar waiting to chat to you and your friends. They are from all kinds of backgrounds with all kinds of abilities and all they want with you is a conversation. All food and drinks have to be paid for on the night individually but everyone is welcome to go along and get talking! Please go along and show your support. The event will be repeated on the first Tuesday of each month going forward which means the next one after this will be on Tuesday 7th April. Singing In The Rain
From Wednesday 4th – Sunday 8th March the Mansfield Operatic & Dramatic Society proudly present one of the greatest movie musicals of all time, ‘Singing In The Rain’. Mansfield Model Railway Exhibition
Over the weekend of the 7th & 8th March the 12th Annual Mansfield Model Railway Exhibition is happening at the St Peters Centre on Church Side in Mansfield. There will be layouts in various gauges, both steam and diesel as well as lots of trade and demonstrator stands too. There will also be a special guest layout from The Great Model Railway Challenge and on top of this there’s good food, cakes and refreshments available too. Admission is £4 for Adults, £3.50 for Concessions and £1 for children. All proceeds go to St Peters Church and the local scouts group. Jack Of All Hearts – Bargains Galore
There is a fantastic little charity hidden away in the Handley Arcade, Mansfield. It’s called ‘The Jack Of All Hearts’ and sells lots of wedding dresses, ball gowns and prom dresses all at discounted prices. They also sell clothing for all occasions, shoes, bric a brac and lots of Nemesis Now products too. Why not pay them a visit? They are open Monday – Saturday from 12pm – 3pm each day. All proceeds raised from the shop go direct to people suffering with brain cancer to help support them and their families at a time when they need it most.
