Couple Charged Following Drugs Seizure
A 36-year-old Mansfield man has been charged with drug offences following a police raid on a house in Forest Town.
Daniel Speed, of Admiral’s Court, was charged with the possession with intent to supply amphetamines.
He was charged with a further five offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (POCA).
Speed’s 27-year-old wife Abigail Speed, of the same address, was also charged with five offences under POCA.
The charges follow a warrant at an address in Garwick Close in October.
Police seized a quantity of amphetamines and drugs paraphernalia, as well as cash and items believed to have been purchased from the proceeds of crime.
The pair have been bailed until their appearance at Mansfield Magistrates Court on Friday.
A 24-year-old woman, arrested alongside the Speeds in connection with the incident, was released without charge. |
