Olympic Torch Route Revealed
The route the Olympic Torch will take through our area has been revealed this morning.
It will start in our area in Boughton at around 10am on Thursday 28th June and go through Ollerton, Edwinstowe and Mansfield before leaving at 1.35pm.
It then goes through Glapwell and Bolsover on the following day.
The timetable is as follows:
Thursday 28th June
10:05am - Boughton - Main Street, Tuxford Road
10:17am - Ollerton - Forest Road, Ollerton Road (A616)
10:36am - Edwinstowe - Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, Swinecote Road, High Street, West Lane, Mansfield Road
11:38am - Mansfield (Part 1) - Peafield Lane, Leeming Lane North, Leeming Lane South, Rebecca Adlington Swimming Centre (12:04pm)
1:05pm - Westdale Road, West Bank Avenue, Chesterfield Road South, Church Street, Bridge Street, Ratcliffe Gate, Rock Hill, Southwell Road West (1:35pm)
Friday 29th June
11:33am - Glapwell - The Hill
11:52am - Bolsover - Mansfield Road, Langwith Road, Town End, Station Road
