Drink Driving Figures On The Up In Notts
More people are drink driving and getting caught in Nottinghamshire.
A few weeks back, in just two days, eleven motorists were arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol with ten of them three times over the legal limit.
For the first seven months of 2011, the number of crashes, in which alcohol was a factor, rose.
From January to July, the number of alcohol-related collisions was 96, with two deaths and thirty people seriously injured.
Notts Police are kicking off their Winter Drink Driving campaign by saying they hope to test a record number of people, beating 3,501 in December 2010.
