Tony Egginton was re-elected for a third term as Mansfield's Mayor by a majority of 67 on the second vote.

He trailed to Labour's Steve Yemm after the first choice votes were counted but, as nobody had over 50% of the votes, the second choice votes from the other three candidates were added to the pair's totals.
