Two Arrests After Sutton Knife-Point Robbery

Officers made two arrests following a swift response to a knife-point robbery.
A 33-year-old man had a mobile phone, bank card and cash taken from him by two men with knives in Fox Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield, at around 4.15pm yesterday (3 December).
Police were quickly on the scene and took a description of the offenders and within minutes arrested a 19-year-old man in Langton Court, Sutton-in-Ashfield on suspicion of robbery. A mobile phone, bank card and cash were recovered. He was also arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with an assault on a 23-year-old man in Commercial Gate, Mansfield, at around 8.50am on 16 November.
Another 19-year-old man was also arrested later in the evening on suspicion of robbery in connection with the Fox Street incident.
