Six return as Greens host Richmond
Nottingham Rugby Head Coach Ian Costello has made six changes for Sunday's clash with Championship new-boys Richmond at Lady Bay (3pm kick-off).
Fresh from their British & Irish Cup win over Leinster 'A' in Dublin last weekend, the Green and Whites' thoughts now turn to attempting to move up the league standings, having suffered defeats in their last two Championship games against London Irish and Doncaster Knights.
Three changes have been made in the pack, with hooker TJ Harris returning in time to replace his injured teammate Jimmy Stevens, whilst tighthead prop Top Heard is chosen in place of Pat Cilliers. Josh Poullet also makes a comeback at number eight, after missing last Saturday's win in Ireland, with captain Ben Morris moving to the second row and Toby Freeman dropping to the bench.
Along the backline, Costello has opted for Murray McConnell at scrum half, ahead of Darryl Veenendaal, alongside Oli Evans and Calum Hall, who have both been brought into the starting line-up at outside centre and right wing respectively.
On the bench, prop Ben Hooper is set to make a very welcome first appearance for the club, with the former Yorkshire Carnegie forward having now fully recovered from an injury he picked up with his previous club at the end of last season.
Team to face Richmond: 15) Will Millett, 14) Calum Hall, 13) Oli Evans, 12) Vili Hakalo, 11) James Stephenson, 10) George Worth, 9) Murray McConnell, 1) Kieran Davies, 2) TJ Harris, 3) Tom Heard, 4) Ben Morris (C), 5) Tom Holmes, 6) Rob Langley, 7) Jordan Coghlan, 8) Josh Poullet.
