Positive COVID Test At Mansfield Primary School
A student at Berry Hill Primary School has tested positive for the Coronavirus.
The statement from the school reads as follows:
Jacqueline Hill, headteacher at Berry Hill Primary school said “Following a pupil testing positive for COVID, the school has been working closely with Public Health England and the Local Authority to make sure that the most appropriate action is taken to help stop the spread of the virus. One class group (bubble) has been advised that they must stay at home for 14 days, in line with government guidance. All parents have been informed.
“If the children who have been asked to stay at home develop COVID-19 symptoms, parents and carers must register them online for a COVID test. There is no need for other members of the households to stay home unless their children develop symptoms.
“The school has worked hard to ensure the appropriate measures are in place in school and the rest of the school remains open as normal. The school continues to follow all government and public health guidance on hygiene and safety measures.“
