Police Appeal For Information After Rosemary Street Assault
A man was taken to hospital after he was repeatedly punched and then kneed in the head as he walked home two friends in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police are hunting two men after they jumped over a central reservation railing and beat up the victim for no apparent reason.
The unprovoked attack happened in Rosemary Street, Mansfield, at around 1am on Saturday (17 July).
The victim was left with swollen eyes and cuts to his face.
He was taken to hospital and discharged later that morning.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the attack to come forward.
