Mansfield Registry Office Proves Second Most Popular Venue For Notts Valentines Weddings
Mansfield’s County House registry office has proven the second most popular venue for Nottinghamshire couples getting hitched over the weekend and today.
As cupid fires the arrow of love, research has suggested that at Nottinghamshire County Councils venues for weddings, the arrow will be fired most in Mansfield, with five of twenty-one weddings across last weekend and today, being held at County House.
Councillor Glynn Gilfoyle, Chair of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Community Safety Committee, said: “When Valentine’s Day falls early week the weekend before proves very popular with romantic couples and we also have over double the number of weddings booked on the big day itself compared to a usual Tuesday.”
“We aim to make every couple’s big day special no matter what day of the year they choose to get married. We are right in the centre of the country with great transport links, we have so many venues to choose from it’s easy to see why Nottinghamshire is popular for weddings.”
