Man Arrested In Connection With Kirkby Robbery

Officers have arrested a man in connection with a report of a robbery of an elderly woman in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
It was reported that a man stole an 80-year-old woman’s car as she left the Co-op in Chapel Street. It happened at around 7.35am on Saturday (27 January 2018).
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He remains in police custody.
The woman didn’t suffer any serious injuries but was left very shaken by her ordeal.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 182 of 27 January 2018.
