I Love Mansfield Christmas Market To Return Next Month

I Love Mansfield Christmas Market To Return
Planning for Mansfield town centre's I Love Mansfield Christmas Market is well underway, with just a couple of chalets left to fill.
The market is due to run between Saturday, November 27 to Wednesday, December 22, between 10am and 5pm daily, and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays.
There are also plans for the market, being organised by Mansfield BID with support from funding partner Mansfield District Council, to be open late on the first three Thursday evenings in December, with an additional evening Market on the Market Place to enhance the Christmas offering.
Sue Rogers, from Mansfield BID, is coordinating the setting up of the market, and already has a number of stallholders lined up.
Situated along West Gate, the market will sell items such as homemade candles, jewellery, toys, ornaments, sweets, metal signs, cheeses, wine and mulled wine, hot chocolate and waffles.
There will also be live entertainment, Christmas activities and freebies available too, including carrots for Rudolph and his Reindeers, courtesy of Troops Fruit & Veg on Rock Valley.
Sue said: “It's great to be organising the festive market again, although we know that our planning may have to change if COVID restrictions alter.
“We only have a couple of chalets left to fill but we have a lot of interest so it really should be a great opportunity to pop into town to pick up Christmas gifts.”
Many of the town centre businesses, including the Four Seasons Shopping Centre, will be open late every Thursday, making Christmas in Mansfield the festive place to visit.
Anyone who wants to enquire about having a chalet for the whole duration, or for certain weeks, should email sue@mansfieldbid.co.uk.
