Jamie Hardwick has stepped down from his position as manager of Clipstone F.C. following his acceptance of a new role as head of coaching and player development for Scunthorpe United.

Alan Widdowson, formerly assistant manager at the club, has accepted an invitation from the Clipstone committee to take over the Manager’s position, which he duly accepted. Jamie will continue to be a key part of the Clipstone F.C. set up moving forward supporting Alan as part of the management team.

Alan commented: “I will be doing my utmost to ensure Clipstone F.C. is at the heart of the community, I am really looking forward to continuing what Jamie and myself have already started at the club and looking to the future, I will put all my efforts into moving the club forward”

In a statement on the club's website they said "We are all delighted for Jamie and thank him for all the hard work he has put in recently and look forward to seeing him continue his support to Alan,  as a key member of the management team as and when his commitments allow"
