Green and Whites hope to extended unbeaten run

Unbeaten in their last five games in both league and cup, a buoyant Nottingham Rugby side travel to Old Deer Park on Saturday afternoon (2pm kick-off) knowing they face a formidable challenge to make it six as they take on a London Welsh team smarting from two recent, narrow defeats.

Green and Whites Head Coach Ian Costello has made three changes to his starting line-up, which secured a last-gasp 19-19 home draw against Rotherham Titans last weekend, with Darryl Veenendaal returning at scrum half, alongside tighthead Ben Hooper and lock Toby Freeman, who are both promoted to the first XV, after featuring as replacements in last Sunday's deadlocked encounter.

Prop Tom Heard and scrum half Murray McConnell are selected on the bench, alongside loosehead Harry Morley and back rower Josh Poullet, who both make a return to the 22-man squad.

Team: 15) Billy Robinson, 14) David Williams, 13) Oli Evans, 12) Vili Hakalo, 11) James Stephenson, 10) Mitch Lam, 9) Darryl Veenendaal, 1) Kieran Davies, 2) TJ Harris, 3) Ben Hooper, 4) Toby Freeman, 5) Tom Holmes, 6) Ben Morris, 7) Matt Everard (C), 8) Shane Buckley. Replacements: 16) Ben Brownlie, 17) Harry Morley, 18) Tom Heard, 19) Josh Poullet, 20) Rob Langley, 21) Murray McConnell, 22) Charlie Thacker.
