Forest suffer disappointing defeat at Rams
Nottingham Forest manager Philippe Montanier is hoping that his players will have learnt from Sunday's 3-0 defeat at neighbours Derby County in the Championship.
A Nicklas Bendtner own goal in the opening period was added to by goals from Thomas Ince and Will Hughes in a second half that the Rams dominated.
After the game, Montanier admitted that the display after interval was "very poor tactically, technically and physically."
He told the club's official website: "When you play in a derby you have to show another level and it is a big disappointment as it is an important game for the fans.
"For that I am more than disappointed, especially about the second half.
"We lacked everything in the second half. Not just passion but we didn’t play like a unit with and without the ball. You cannot do that in any game, especially a derby as it is a tough game.
"Today we didn’t deserve a draw or victory and I hope it is a lesson learned for the next game that if we don’t play 100 per cent we cannot hope for a good result."
The defeat leaves Forest in sixteenth place whilst Derby move up into the play-off spots after their sixth straight victory.
