Derbyshire to host England women's one-day match
ICC Women’s World Cup winners England will return to The 3aaa County Ground in 2018 for a Royal London ODI against New Zealand on Tuesday 10th July.
The 50-over floodlit match, starting at 1pm, will take place almost a year after England lifted the World Cup trophy at Lord’s, in a tournament that started here in Derby.
The Club hosted eight Women’s World Cup fixtures in 2017, including two sold out games, and in total over 10,000 people attended matches at The 3aaa County Ground.
England and New Zealand will return to Derby in 2018 as part of a three-match Royal London ODI series, with ICC Women’s Championship points up for grabs.
Tickets for the fixture will go on general sale on Tuesday 12th December at 10am.
Derbyshire Members will be able to claim a ticket, in advance, at no extra charge as part of their 2018 Membership package.

“We received tremendous support from Members and supporters from across the region and enjoyed capacity crowds for all our England games.
“It’s great that we will be able to welcome back both England and New Zealand to Derby next summer as we continue to support the exciting growth of the women’s game.
“We’re also pleased to include this fixture as part of our 2018 Membership package making Derbyshire Membership even better value next summer.”
