Cuckney Bid for NPL Title

The final round of fixtures in cricket's Notts Premier League take place on Saturday with issues to be resolved at both ends of the table, should the weather allow it.

The game of the day is undoubtedly Cuckney at home to Hucknall which will have repercussions in the races for the title and to avoid relegation.

Cuckney need ten points to be crowned champions, and will be buoyed by their triumph in the Derbyshire Premier Cup final last weekend.

Hucknall are in the thick of the battle for survival, and can lift themselves out of the bottom two if they secure two points more than Welbeck who are at Plumtree, while Ordsall Bridon would need to get fewer then two more than Hucknall.

Mansfield Hosiery Mills, meanwhile, travel to Radcliffe-on-Trent looking to confirm a top five finish.
