Ben Bradley Speaks At Conservative Party Conference
Mansfield MP Ben Bradley has made a speech at the Conservative Party Conference this morning.
He started his speech by remembering the mix-up during the announcement of his win back in June and went on to say "Mansfield is a vibrant place, it is full of amazing people, hundreds of bright and positive groups and projects making brilliant things happen all the time."
Mr. Bradley is the town's first ever Conservative MP, he beat Sir. Alan Meale who had been in the seat for 30 years at the Election and told other party members, "The previous Labour MP hadn't even uttered the word Mansfield in Parliament for more than 3 years."
The 27 year old thinks keeping the local people up to date on what he is doing will ensure they believe he is doing his best for the town, "By embracing social media, going above and beyond to comminicate on local issues, we've brought people closer. By being available for a chat, friendly or otherwise, we have painted a positive picture that was a stark contrast with what came before."

Bradley with more encouragement, "We need to harness that positive message and make sure everybody knows about it, and that means being pro-active. Making sure our logic and our compassion shine through and that is how we will inspire the next generation of Conservatives.
