Ashfield School To Help Students With Employment

The Two Counties Trust is reaching out to local organisations with the hope of closing the gap between employer and student by inviting employers/employees into the school.
With the limited amount of advice and guidance available for students, young people are finding it increasingly difficult to make well informed decisions about their future.
The Ashfield School is in the process of organising a Careers Fair on Tuesday 17th April 2018 for all students who are part of the Two Counties Trust. The event will be held in the main hall, on the school site and will run from 10am- 1pm. Parents and Years 10/11 and Post 16 Students will be invited. Lunch will be provided for employers after the event in the Academy Café.
They are asking for the support of organisations and employers to attend this event.
The school wish to expose their students to real people, working in the real world, in order to share their life experience and what it means to work within your chosen industry. Each employer/organisation will have a stall to exhibit their company and share any advice they can about working within that profession. You may also advertise your company and any training opportunities you may have to offer.
The purpose of this is so that students can speak to professionals and discover what they need to know when considering possible career paths.
