Lewis Hamilton is among the famous faces to be recognised in the New Years honours.

The seven-time F1 world champion's getting a knighthood but did you know he used to race go karts at the beginning of his career along side a former Mansfield 103.2 breakfast presenter. 

Andy Delahunty (the son of Mansfield 103.2's Managing Director Tony Delahunty) and Sir Lewis were extremely close when they were raced together back in the 90s. 

The picture shows Andy and Lewis with former McCaren boss Ron Dennis. 

Andy is now a very successful businessman but still races for fun and won his last race earlier this year.
