All Change At Shirebrook Town
Shirebrook Town have announced that Rob Camm has been appointed manager of Shirebrook Town FC he will be assisted by Jamie Allen and Gavin Saxby.
In addition to that there has been a change right at the top at Langwith Road as Cliff Richard Thomas has been appointed Chairman.
Cliff had the following to say about his appointment, "I would like to say a big thanks to Aimee Radford the outgoing Chairperson of Shirebrook Town Football Club. She has been at the Club for many years and have worked harduously too progress the Football Club forward. Aimee has taken the decision to step down i'm sure with an heavy heart, I have today been acknowledged as the Football Clubs new Chairman and will work tirelessly to continue Aimee's great work and bring to the club my knowledge and connections to push the club further on helping it realising its potential and embracing once again the community of Shirebrook. Bringing the old and the new residents of Shirebrook together with a common cause. I hope to bring great football back and an infrastructure to harness the local talent. rebranding the club so its a pillar of the community inviting all to share in its growth. An Honorable Day for me personally as my growth in football as spanned 4 decades from playing to coaching to managing and chairmanship. Every facet is well known to me and this experience i will use to assist the football club."
Kev Chappell is another new face at the club as he has been made General Manager.
Shirebrook completed their 2016/17 campaign with 4-0 defeat to Grimsby Borough, it saw them finish 18th in the NCEL Divsion 1.
