4 Day Weeks…
4 Day Weeks…
It’s been a busy week on the breakfast show, I think between us we’ve pretty much managed to put the world to rights.
On Monday we chatted X factor songs & the ones we’d use as our audition pieces, mine would definitely be Freda Payne’s “Band of Gold”
Tuesday, we did our own survey as to who the best TV character of the 21st Century was. The official poll said it was the Doctor from “Dr Who”, but you disagreed and reckoned it was either Del Boy or Tyrion from “Game of Thrones”, I maintain it’s Jack Bauer!
Yesterday, we helped the FA out with the decision as to who should be the new England manager. Steve Bruce appeared to be your favourite choice.
It’s a 4 day week for me (well as far as the breakfast show is concerned) Tonight I’m hosting a ball at Portland College to raise money for the Rainbows Children’s Charity and the Stroke Assocoation. It’s been organized by Jane Box who recently, along with her friend Rosi completed a drive in a Nissan Micra from Mansfield to Mongolia! You can find out more about them by clicking HERE.
So as I suspect I’m in for a late night and lots of dancing as the wonderful Ginny Brown and the Collective are performing - more on them HERE - so I thought I’d have a lie in on Friday morning.
Although I think I’m going to need my rest, next week on the breakfast show is going to be VERY VERY exciting, so I’ve got some serious planning to do!!!
