Greetings Brothers and Sisters....Following the evolvement of Soul music the area for nearly 40 years, it pleases me to see so many enjoying the CLASSICS....one more time.
Locally, we are seeing rising numbers at the Civic Soul nights as well as busy gatherings at The Dukeries Soul Club, Robin Hood(Edwinstowe), Mansfield Old Boys,Bank Holiday specials at the Towers,Botany Ave plus a zillion pubs/venues smattered around Mansfield/Ashfield and Bolsover.
The Swan in Worksop has become a 2nd Friday hit and what can you say about the Westgate Suites,Long Eaton. Record breaking crowds on the last Friday of the month.
Nationally...never better with the monthly Twisted Wheel sessions,Manchester, the remarkable Pontins,Prestatyn who continue to thrill with the array of Live Acts on show.
Blackpool Tower has 'the world northern soul dancing championship' during the 2nd week of November while other top notch Weekend's away include Whitby Pavilion(July),Skegness(Apr/Sept) and Hunstanton(Nov)
